The Annual HOA yard sale is Saturday, June 9, 2012. This is also free fishing day. Take advantage of the extra traffic going to Sego Prairie Pond to fish. The HOA will advertise for a neighborhood yardsale this day.

The Association has advertised the yard sale in the newspaper. All you need to do is put your sale items out on your driveway or in your garage and make some spare change on the things you want to get rid of.

The annual meeting for the home owners association for Sego Prairie Farms will be held on May 16, 2012@ 7pm at Kuna Middle School Cafeteria, Boise Street, Kuna, Idaho 83634

All HOA members are welcomed to attend.

If you desire to speak at the meeting regarding any of the agenda items or other unlisted issue then please sign in at the beginning of the meeting on May 16. There will be a sign in sheet at the front door.

Safety Tips

Watch out for school buses and kids at play in the neighborhood. Please obey the posted speed limit and be alert while driving through the neighborhood.

Do not park wheels of vehicles on the sidewalk. It is inconvenient and a safety issue for families and kids accessing the sidewalks. It is also a violation of a city ordnance.

It is unlawful for unlicensed drivers to ride gas or electric powered scooters on sidewalks or streets. It is unlawful for unlicensed motorized vehicles to be driven.

Residential Parking

Please be mindful of vehicle parking laws in the subdivision.

Quick reminders:

Don’t park on sidewalks — families and children that walk and play on the sidewalks are inconvenienced by vehicles with wheels parked on or across the sidewalks.

Don’t park in front or back yards or other seeded areas — that is, areas where vegetation is or should be growing (not intentionally paved/gravelled areas); please help preserve the beautification of our neighborhood.

Don’t park/store vehicles on the street for more than 72 hours

Compliance with City Ordnances

Most general and specific restrictions or requirements covered in Article IV of the CC&Rs is now governed by specific city ordinances, including but not limited to restrictions on temporary structures, unscreened vehicles or equipment, unsightly objects, nuisances, parking, and various other restrictions or requirements. Violators may be cited or ticketed by city or county law enforcers that patrol the area. Neighbors can report offences in person by visiting City Hall and completing the appropriate form. Alternatively, call Kuna City Police at 922-5743 to request an officer respond to general complaints (dial 911 for emergencies). Consider talking to your neighbors first… they may be unaware of certain issues governed by the CC&Rs or city ordinances that they can promptly remedy, and they will probably be thankful to you for your candor.
